Members of the Transport, Climate & Place Team were at the Palmers Green Festival on Sunday 20th September along with their smoothie bike, Dr Bike service, second-hand bike market and the Enfield Tool Library. The sun shone, smoothies flowed, lots of bikes were repaired and some even bought.
The team gave out a lot of advice about the cycling and walking activities offered by Enfield Council and encouraged people to join in the London Cycling Festival which is taking place on 20th September. There’s still time to sign up!
The day was a great success, and it was a pleasure to be out in the sunshine helping to signpost local residents to some of the great services offered by the council. Thanks to everyone who came and spoke with us, had their bike serviced, bought a second hand bike, or had a ride on our smoothie bike!
