The London Cycling Festival Returns to Enfield

Enfield is one of 19 London Boroughs taking part in the second London Cycling Festival. Following a very successful event last year, Enfield will be hosting this year’s event in Broomfield Park.

Join a family-friendly circular led bike ride from Broomfield Park to Grovelands Park via quiet roads. View the route here.

The 8km ride starts at 11am at Broomfield Park after a safety briefing and will finish between 1pm and 1.30pm.

Registration starts from 10.00am.

The ride is organised and led by Enfield Cycling Campaign marshals. It is a slow-paced ride suitable for all abilities. Plenty of time will be allowed for everyone to get round!

Places are free but they are also limited and you can only participate if you have booked. Book your place here.

For those not taking part in the main ride, we will be hosting activities in Broomfield Park. These include:

  1. Dr Bike
  2. Smoothie Bike
  3. Kids Bikes and Ramps
  4. Dance Sessions
  5. Active Travel/Climate Action/Community Activities

  7. Don’t fancy joining the ride? Why not take part in the Broomfield Park to Grovelands Park Heritage Walk?

The London Cycling Club will be leading a relaxed heritage walk exploring two of Enfield’s beautiful green spaces on the day. The walk starts at 11.00 am, will take approximately 2 hours and you’ll learn all about the history of the parks and their features. It is suitable for all ages and will take into account varying levels of ability.
