Bikes registered with BikeRegister are 83 per cent less likely to be stolen, and registration provides a logbook as proof of ownership, which is invaluable for recovering stolen bikes. Plus, all UK police forces can access the BikeRegister – the National Cycle database – to help return recovered bikes to their rightful owners.
These event will focus on engaging with the community by providing crime prevention advice, distributing information materials, colouring books and other goodies and offering interactive activates for families. The police are partnering up with key agencies including LFB, LFS, Police Cadets, PCSO’s Mounted Branch, Dog unit, to create an informative and enjoyable experience.
