Every year Transport for London (TfL) hosts the STARS Top School Awards to celebrate the amazing things school have done to encourage active travel. This year Enfield Council nominated 3 schools for each category (6 categories).

We want to say a huge congratulations to both Raynham Primary School and George Spicer Primary School for picking up an award each.

George Spicer Primary School was the regional winner of the TfL STARS Most Innovative Award for North London.

Raynham Primary School was the regional winner of the TfL STARS Sustainable Travel STARS Award for North London.

The judging panel were extremely impressed by their work to increase active travel and decrease the number of cars on the school run, helping to improve air quality, road safety and children’s health in their local area.

Well done to both schools for this fantastic achievement!
