Enfield to host the Liveable Neighbourhoods conference this November

Enfield Council are delighted to be hosting the Liveable Neighbourhoods Conference 2025. Organised by Landor Links in collaboration with Journeys and Places, the event will bring together delegates from local government, private sector organisations and national agencies.

The conference takes place at the Dugdale Arts Centre on Thursday 20 November and will focus on the key elements in creating people-friendly streets. Sessions will explore how to reclaim street space to deliver more inclusive neighbourhoods, the importance of community engagement in making the case for change, and the role of arts and culture in supporting thriving places.

The event is hosted within the Enfield Town Liveable Neighbourhood project area and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work that the Journeys and Places team have been delivering since 2019.

The conference will be opened by Enfield Council Leader Ergin Erbil.

“We are delighted that the 2025 Liveable Neighbourhoods Conference will take place in Enfield Town which is a fitting location as we deliver our own Liveable Neighbourhood project here.

“Through Enfield Council’s Journeys & Places programme, we are delivering improvements to the public realm and spaces for residents and visitors to stop and rest, promoting a bustling town centre.

“The conference is a great opportunity to showcase our progress, share ideas with other local authorities, and celebrate the benefits of creating more vibrant town centres for our communities.”
