Curate Enfield shortlisted for the Pineapples Awards

The Journeys and Places team is delighted to announce that our grassroots public art programme, Curate Enfield, has been shortlisted for the Pineapple Awards in the Community Engagement category. Delivered in partnership with local young people and community leaders recruited as public art champions, Curate Enfield has created 40 new public artworks across the borough over the past two years, transforming our high streets and town centres through bold and striking creative interventions.

Being shortlisted for a Pineapple Award – celebrating excellence in placemaking and recognising projects that create vibrant, welcoming places and strengthen community life – is a fantastic achievement! We are proud to see the talent and creativity of Enfield’s residents recognised in this way.

We will be presenting, at the online finalist’s event, Festival of Pineapples, on the 25th of February. The event is free to attend and can be watched online after registering via Festival of Pineapples 2026.

The winners will be announced at the Pineapples Awards Party on 22 April, at Trinity Buoy Wharf.
